There's so much experience in that room that unless there's a guy like Mario Lemieux out there you go with guys in their prime.

Just very doubtful that the extra "leadership" Iginla provides in any way negates the difference between him and a younger, hungrier, better body.

From what I recall Captian serious has won two Stanley cups, and worn the TC jersey 7 times, I am sure he can handle the pressure with limited guidance.

Iggy retrieved the puck for the golden goal. He is obviously getting towards the twilight of his career but has arguably been hampered by duds for years and then a few months adjusting to a completely different system and role.

Marc Staal over Bouwmeester? Staal was mediocre before his eye injury. I wouldn't put him over any of the LDs in camp, much less Jay Bouwmeester.

Also, if TC somehow does not put Taylor Hall on this team, they are making a huge mistake.

It's not often ill give an oiler too much credit, but I agree that Taylor Hall should be on this team. His speed on that open ice would be a huge advantage
