Flames Flames defeat Sharks in Final Game of the Season 5-1!

Well, it was a fun game with lots of goals, and milestones being hit!

It's been a pleasure watching another season of Flames hockey with you all again. Can't wait for next season!

So glad that Weegar got his milestone goal. As Bieksa said that 20 goals for a defense is 50 goals for a forward.

  • Klapka, first goal.
  • Goalman, 30th goal.
  • Weegar, 20th goal.
  • Wolf ... so close. That just means the first one will be even sweeter in October.

Weegar's previous high in a season was 8 goals.

And according to the flames Instagram, first player in nhl history with 20 goals and 200 blocks.

Underrated season from him. 16th in scoring for dmen as well. And 17 even strength goals is really impressive

Watching the game live, I agree. The Flames were scoring just by shooting on net. Then they phoned it in for the back half of the game and SJ still couldn’t do a thing.

I've had more fun watching this team than last year's, that's for sure. At least they played hard, and we had some fun surprises like Kuzmenko, Sharangovich, and Kylington's return.

Well, I was there, I cheered, I said my good-byes. I can’t say I truly believe in a rebuild, but hey, what else do we have, right?

This years team was fun to watch. Given all the trades and roster moves the team never quit. Markstron was the teams MVP up and until the trade deadline. He was the main reason we were fighting for a wild card spot for parts of the season.
