You're a miserable person.
I think you need to step away from this forum and the NHL itself for awhile, you get so worked up when things don't go your way

Johnson with gillies as backup. Hope Elliott has played his last game with the Flames. Dude has been brutal.

Johnson deserves the shot, and really the only hope is something to rally around. New 'tender is really the only option.

Johnson, so sick of hearing about "luck". Luck didn't make Elliott let in 4 crappy goals tonight, luck didn't make him choke in the playoffs last year, he's just a choke artist under pressure.

Elliott is garbage and was garbage most of the year until he got hot for a month. There is a reason teams don't want him.

Glen needs to know when to go for the yank - Hartley was good at that and used it a lot to wake the team up.
My only counter is you don't yank a goalie with the lead, I don't think Hartley ever did that.

I'd put 3-4 softies on Elliott in the past two games (ultimately still think that is the difference between a win and loss) but we've been getting just terrible puck luck and all these stupid deflections right into the net.

I really feel hopeless in every way and not even sure what they can change. Thought Calgary was the better team last game and this game.

I think it's good advice. You seem to have personal grudges against posters on here, including yours truly. It's not worth it.

Johnson. We need some fresh mojo in a huge way.

I'd stick with Elliott. But if they end up starting Johnson, I'm ok with that too. Whatever it takes to get us a freakin' win in this series. Have they tried sacrificing a live duck at centre ice yet?

Neither should be the first choice. I'd look at Fleury to see if we can get him on a short term contract.

I predicted a Flames loss in 5 and put up some cash to back that up. I've always looked at sports with a critical eye regardless of who's playing. If I told you I also won by betting on the Flames against the Canucks 2 years ago, would that make you feel better?

Getting so emotinally worked up over a game is just silly. I vent here after a loss (or 3 of them), but then I go to bed and don't wake up with a cloud over my head the next day. Everytime someome posts something negative about this team you act like they personally insulted your family, it's bizarre

Gillies, give the kid a chance. I don't think we are bringing Elliott back so give the future a chance at bat.

If not the give it to Chad, after tonight I would have more confidence in anyone but Elliott.

This is just another obstacle in the rebuild process so lets see what we have in the pipeline. Maybe someone can step up like Miikka and take this to a 7 game series.

5.75 for 2 more years though, I don't know. That's lots of money but at least it's only 2 years I guess

Team is going to be entering this cores prime in 2-3 years, Calgary doesn't really have the benefit of screwing up another goaltender choice. Fleury could be the answer but it's too much of a dice roll for me to get 100% that idea. Would rather get Bishop myself

lol, that couldn't be farther from the truth. The amount of negative posts about the team are so numerous they can't be counted.

You see what you want to see, and that's fine. I find it bizarre you show up after rarely posting gloating about winning a bet against the team with an "I told you so" attitude. Guess we all find different things bizarre.

I can't really see anyone but Elliott starting, as gg doesn't really seem to like tinkering with lineups.
I can't see it making a difference either way though. Anaheim has really brought the heat when it mattered, and they'll be motivated to finish this, and Elliott and Johnson have both been shakey lately.
