Default Jason Arnott Retires

I thought this was already done awhile ago as he hasn't played since 2011-2012.

Going to be a huge shock when Alex Mogilny formally announces his retirement too.

Honestly, I thought he retired after he failed to pass his physical with the Rangers.

Always thought he was a good player though. Never really had any problems with him.

Counting Edmonton rebuilds is like counting iterations of the anomaly in The Matrix.

Rest assured, this will be the sixth time Edmonton has destroyed a rebuild, and they have become exceedingly efficient at it.

don't you have to be working in order to retire?

Cut the guy a break. It isn't like he called a big press conference to make the announcement. You have to formally file retirement papers in order to start collecting from the pension plan. He put out a nice statement thanking all of the fans in all of the cities that he played in, along with all the teammates he ever played with. Seems pretty classy to me.
