Yes, 10 PM I believe on FX Canada, 1.5 hours as well for the premiere!

I don't get Superchannel. In the past, I just waited for the DVDs to come out. I just don't think I can wait this year. I really don't want anything ruined by spoilers, so I may have to bite the bullet and commit to the ancient practice of watching it as it airs.
Back to staying off any social media until I can watch it, I'm always a few hours after airing before I get the episode. I can't wait for this season!!!
That one actually made me a bit sick. Sometimes they just go to far with the violence. I'm starting to hope everyone takes a bullet by the end of this thing.

Yeah, that was a bizarre rendition of that song and just kind of a weird choice for that part of the show.
Overall, I thought it was a decent episode, but it didn't really feel like a season premiere. It felt anticlimactic given what went down at the end of the last season.
The violence didn't actually bother me, to be honest. I think mainly because it's kinda cheap looking. I almost feel like I can see the tubes and the blood packs the actors are wearing.
Spoiler!
The violence with Jax killing the guy at the end had to be "big," given that Jax is avenging the love of his life. He couldn't just shoot the guy and be done with it.
Interested to see where the Juice/Wayne storyline goes. We left with Wayne tied up in the tub. Tough one. Can't let him go, probably doesn't want to kill him based on their history.
And Wendy, seriously? I know you were in rehab, but come on! You don't want anyone knowing Juice is there, but you buy him groceries and leave them on the counter, instead of putting them away and then you direct the former Sheriff to your closet where you have no idea what of Juice's stuff is in there.
For the series -- honestly, I think most everyone is going to die. There is no other end, for Gemma in particular. She's done far too much crap to be allowed to live and I can't see them wrapping the show without Jax finding out what has gone on.
I put my comments in spoilers. I wasn't sure if we were openly talking about the show or what. I don't like being the one to ruin things for anyone.
I'm just turning into a wussy as I get older. I still want to watch the show, and I know people need to and are going to get killed as part of the storyline, but ultraviolence....life is just to precious and for us to find that entertaining? moral dilemna!
Strange, I find the violence in SOA, while plentiful, is actually quite tame compared to what is being shown in other, similar network shows (Boardwalk Empire, GOT, etc.). I do have to agree that the situational violence (torture, beatings, child molestation, etc.) is a little more jarring.
For example, the idea of Jax torturing the guy at the end was far more harsh than what they actually showed on screen. The only 3 times I've struggled watching/dealing with this show were
Spoiler!
Stahl's execution, Opie's death, and Tara's death.

number 2 and 3 yes (especially number 2 ... that was horrible and I don't think another TV death has ever shocked me like that one), number 1 not so much ... probably because I absolutely hated that character.
I agree with the general sentiment though, I don't think the show would suffer from toning a bit down in terms of violence. Yamer is right, I also thought not showing the majority of the torturing was way more effective.
