Haha. How true that is. Just last week 3 little ones were running around the course getting balls to sell to members. I give them the golf balls I have found for the day as I remember being young once.

All the balls are guaranteed to be straight and true. If these balls don't work for you, then the problem could be related to your clubs, stance, swing, grip, tee height, weather, humidity, wind speed, and/or lack of or too much swing lube (beer).

I just picked up 5 Dozen NXT Tours. Balls are clean and in great shape with most of them looking brand new.

Mostly corporate logos as well. I assume they are from tournaments and fired in the bushes by drunken clients. LOL!

Thanks Wes!!

I have a pail full of balls like that in my garage right now. By seasons end I can usually find upwards of 100+ golf balls. And yes, one can find a ton of balls the day after a major tourney. Frankly I can't remember the last time I bought golf balls

Friendly bump due to 2017 season around the corner. Prices are the same, lots of stock to get rid of.

Are golf balls no good after they've sat in water for a prolonged period of time?

See the OP. These balls are from the rough. Not the water.

To answer your question, I believe they deteriorate in water over time.

Yes. Water penetrates to the core of the ball and you start losing driving yardage on it. Same thing with refurb'd golfballs.

http://www.vicegolf.com/us2/forget_lakeballs
Studies show that after just one week in the water, lake balls will lose 5 to 10 yards in driving distance off of the tee; after 3 months, the distance loss widens to 20 to 30 yards.
