Default Big Rock Winter Spice

Hey guys, wondering if anybody knows any pubs with winter spice on tap?

Haven't tried it yet but apparently the brewery is out now so all that's left is whatever is still out there.

Thanks!

Try Bottlescrew Bills downtown. Or 1600 in Glenmore Landing.

You do know you can buy 6 packs at pretty much any liquor store in Calgary right? You might have a hard time finding it anywhere on tap.

Thanks. I would prefer to find it on tap but will be going the bottled route if that fails.

It's a seasonal beer so it probably wont be on tap anywhere.

I do enjoy Big Rock Winter Spice. I have not seen it on tap anywhere.
However, my favorite winter beer is Granville Island Winter Ale. I had found it anywhere, until now, since I moved back to Calgary.

I tired their Winter Spice beer last year. The best thing about it was the ginger snaps that came with it. It's been a while since I've tasted a new Big Rock beer that has impressed me.

I don't believe Bottlescrew Bill's has the Big Rock Winter Spice, but they do have the Granville Island Winter Ale on tap (or they did a few weeks ago).

The White Spot had/has a house winter ale on tap. It's delicious.
If that helps.

Granville Island Lions Winter Ale is the best of the best. A lot of 'Winter' beers have cropped up lately do to the GIB's popularity.

The results are in...
The ship had it on tap but is out. They might get some tomorrow but it is unlikely (bc big rock says they're out on twitter). Bottlescrew bills and bear & taber both had it but are also out.
After scouring liquor stores I found some at crowfoot liquor store.

Also, the Granville stuff is really great as well! I had some in Vancouver during the Olympics. You can buy bottles of it at co-op in Calgary too.

Maybe not new brews but they have lots of good beers, their best being Big Rock Honey Brown. McNally's Extra Ale is also a fantatic stout. Grasshopper is good, Trad I like with a shot of Jag dropped in it like a jaggerbomb.

Trad was my first microbrew (back when Big Rock was still a microbrewery) and I still love it, although I'll skip the Jager.
