Great supporters night last night. Lots of folks from the club at the event including all three new signings. Getting excited for the start of the season 1 month away.

Trafford is back on a 2 year deal plus contract option for 2025. Tommy name dropped him on Saturday so I assumed he'd be back.

That’s great and makes sense. He had a superb final 3 months of the season last year. I didn’t want him back after the first half of last season but he has definitely turned me around on his play

With the depth in midfield we have he may not be relied upon as much which should also keep him healthier

Now we just need a backup keeper who they’re comfortable playing 4-8 times to keep Marco fresh to hopefully avoid some late season madness

Was talking to Jake Davis on Saturday and he mentioned that they have a few keepers that they're interested in. Joe Holliday is one for the future but his main goal for this year is getting lots of minutes in League1 Alberta.

Schedule is out. No weeknight games is a win. Looks fairly balanced too.

Pretty normal schedule, as far as schedules go! But it is nice to have some dates to put into the calendar.

I personally don't mind the odd weeknight match under the floodlights (we'll get a CC match at home, hopefully). But weeknights in general are tricky for many of people, so I think that sticking to Friday, Saturdays, and Sundays is wise.

Yao and Sturing signing elsewhere, along with Klomp being in town and at club events, means it looks like Klomp is staying here this year. That's good news.

If you haven't entered them in yet, you are welcome to subscribe to my Cavalry calendar. And anyone else on the forum, of course.

I recommend that you right click, copy the URL, and subscribe to it using your preferred calendar application. That way you'll get any updates, additions (cup run!), etc. That is a better option than saving and just importing.

I know that you can subscribe via third parties (including on the CPL site), but I have had mixed results with those options. They want your email, the calendar events are sometimes a bit spammy, unwanted notifications, etc. Mine is pure!

I think I may have tried to update the scores for a few matches last season before finding it pointless, or more likely, just forgetting to do it. So thank you for reinforcing that decision. I'm also do a lot of recording and avoiding the score, so I totally get it. Let me know if you see any errors.

Looks like Escalante is not going to another CPL club. He has signed with a club in the Honduran second division.

Wonder how long it will take Cavalry to announce his 1 year loan to Motagua ended, that he is no longer with the club and has signed elsewhere.
