I'd love to see this too. It was hard for me to see from afar. Never thought i'd see the town I was born and raised in underwater like that.

"Hockeybuoy" for the next member who signs up and lives on a houseboat.

What an eye opener that show was. To see all the damage inside the Dome made me appreciate just how hard those many workers worked to get the Dome ready for the exhibition games. Also hearing Bob Hartley saying he thought the Flames would be playing in Saskatoon until the Dome was ready.

That footage was insane. Seeing all the history and internals of the Dome go to waste, actually made me a little emotional.
Unbelievable that they got it all cleaned up this quick. My hat is off to everyone that was involved.

That was incredible, it just reminded me of the cleanup effort around town. All the homes we helped clear out. The great people around us, handing us food and water. I often think back and realize that those moments made me the proudest to say that I'm from Calgary.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but the public stairwell that leads from the lower club to the main concourse used to be white walls with some Flames pictures on it, yes? Went through there at the Hitmen game and the entire stairwell has been converted into an obnoxious ad for Dodge trucks.

Did I hear right that the Flames will be having a night where everyone that worked on the Saddledome will get in to a game fro free? Would be a nice gesture if true!

They already had that game. It was the first pre-season game.

Would have been nice if they did it with one of the regular season games.

Why? A free game is a free game. The people who worked on the Dome were getting paid, unlike people cleaning out houses.

Yes, they put that up about a week before the flood.
Don't you just want to go out and buy a Dodge now????
You need to come down and see me before a Hitmen game, I can show you some pictures of the building others have not seen!
The show was very well done!!

Everyone should watch this before that puck drops at home on Sunday, all telus advertising aside, it's a testament to the people who put their hands in the muck and pulled the dome and the hockey club out of it..
Thank you for posting it.
