So Florida has lost Jokinen, Marchessault, Smith and Jagr. Will be a whole new set of forwards on that team. I bet they make a splash in free agent market.

No to Cammalleri. He is trending down the past few years and it's been a steep slope. He scored only 10 goals in 62 games. Can't seem to put together a full season anymore either.

I have no idea what Tallon is doing, but apparently he didn't like the makeup of this team. They're set on defence for the foreseeable future at least. Center as well.

Cammi is NOT coming back.
Iggy is NOT coming back.

Enough with the sloppy seconds.

Joe Haggerty @HackswithHaggs
W/buyout of Jimmy Hayes, Bruins officially have nothing to show for Tyler Seguin just 4 yrs after DAL trade happened. Absolutely wretched

Default Jokinen (FLA), Hayes (BOS), Stuart (WPG), Cammalleri (NJ) on waivers for buyouts

Cammy and Iggy both add something we lack - a one-timer on the PP. I love both guys, and would be overjoyed to see either one land here.

Both players were buried by rotten circumstances last season, just like Lack, Hamonic, and Smith. I would love to see one of them here!

Cammy please.

Is what I would say if Versteeg hadn't re-signed

Hayes has intrigued me for a couple years, RH shot and has decent size. Can't seem to put it together however.

Yeah shuffling wingers isnt a huge deal IMO. Like you say they have a strong C and D core as well as decent average to above average goaltending. If the owner leaves Tallon alone he will probably build a very strong team.

I like Hayes too. Would be a good fit in our bottom 6.

I wouldn't want Cammy back at all. Can't stay healthy any longer, is a LW, and just doesn't have much to offer this team.

I am not pining away for Iginla, but at the very least he is a RHS, takes draws and adds toughness.

Williams makes the most sense to me right now as he can provide the Flames with a bit more versatility up and down the lineup, and he is money in the playoffs.

Hope Cammalleri lands on his feet, but I would be shocked if it was in Calgary.

And the GM who made that godawful deal is piloting our rivals while our GM is killing it.

Good god no. Small, non physical, brings nothing outside of scoring and can't do that at a premium level anymore. Cammalleri doesn't fit at all. We might dream of him on the powerplay but you wouldn't want him hitting the ice 5 on 5.

With Gaudreau and Versteeg I think we're all full up at the moment on small, skilled forwards. Cammalleri is on a hard downswing. GL Mike but if you wanted to stay here you shouldn't have chased the money in NJ

Never liked Cammi when he was here. I thought he was a one trick pony and a lot of times he would disappear. I certainly don't want a worse version. I would like a look at Hayes.

Remind me. What nitwit of a GM made that trade?

I wouldn't bother with Hayes. Chiasson is a more effective player and puts up more points. I get the sense he's going to end up on a PTO somewhere.
