Afternoon game in Vegas the day after St Patrick's Day.

Let's all go!

Tough start but easier end than usually.

Getting that win in Anaheim would be a great way to start the year.

I like that the Edmonton games aren't all back to back this year.

Easy pickings in the last 4 games of the season.

Very different from the tail end of last season.

3 out of the first 4 on the road. 4 out of the last 5 at home. Those seem rare.

It seems like they usually do better with a lot of road games at the start of the season.

Get wins in Rogers Place and Honda Centre to start the season and they'll feel indestructible.

I like that we could potentially waste no time in bucking the Honda curse. 3rd game in!

Smith could very quickly establish himself as a fan favourite with a strong start.

Room rates are relatively inexpensive for that week. Book rooms now and keep cancelling and re-booking until you're booked for the best possible price (unless you get comps).

Family day weekend? Might not be great timing - St. Paddy's time is better!

12 back-to-backs if my count is correct.

That Toronto-Montreal road trip looks hellish: Play the Flyers in Calgary on Dec 4; then off to Toronto on Dec 6 and Montreal on Dec 7; then back to Calgary to play the Canucks on Dec 9.

Three home matinee games!

Saturday January 20 vs Winnipeg
Monday February 19 vs Boston (Family Day)
Saturday February 24 vs Colorado

Usually only have the one, so three is surprising.

For those who like to travel to watch the Flames play, the early February weekend trip to New York looks like a good one.
  • Feb 8 @ NJD
  • Feb 9 @ NYR
  • Feb 11 @ NYI

Take the kids to Disneyland for the week after Thanksgiving and check out the Flames at both Honda and Staples.

Maybe it's because of the Olympics, but it doesn't look there will be a Hockey Day in Canada in February.

Wow 11 of our home dates fall on Saturday, that's far more than usual.

Did that trip two years ago when the Isles were still playing at Nassau. Was so much fun. I'd definitely do it again.

9 of last 18 games against teams that missed playoffs this year and 5 of those are against ARI, VGK and COL.

Calgary is in Nashville on Feb. 15 and Vegas on Feb 21. I wonder if I can pace myself and see both.

Only face the Oilers once in the first few months which is great as the Oilers will only get one freebie this season. Schedule to end the season is fantastic as those are teams a playoff destined team should be able to handle.

All 4 games against Vegas coming in the final 30 games or so. They'll likely have sold off even more assets around deadline time so those could be gifted points.
