This is a great thread. I use many of these sayings already and I've picked up a few new ones.

I've always loved "I correct other peoples grammar" person. I've met at least three of them in my life and one was comedy gold. If you think that you correct your coworkers grammar more than you should have to, you do. You guys are fun to mess with.

Turns out I was the i****. I will let myself out now

Referring to cities by their airport code, mostly done on social media. I think it's a Canadian thing.

Default Sayings That Bother You

"No one put a gun to your head"- so the criteria for decision-making is whether or not someone's going to shoot you?

That being said, being annoyed by that saying has caused me to look at my decision making process a bit more closely.

Also, "Floriduh".

Okay , we're all stupid here. And everyone everywhere else is so damned smart.

I always read it as MrKatz44, like you were some dirty Oiler fan who mis-spelled the name of your team's dear leader. So, uhm. Sorry.

Good timing for this one...

I really, really, really hate: "Wakey, wakey" and slightly less "Rise and shine". Go away, morning people!! My new colleague says these things................ I hope by completely ignoring him, he'll get the hint

It's been mentioned I'm sure but "it's always in the last place you look."

No kidding, I found it, I quit looking. That's how finding things works.

When people say "no disrespect but..." and then usually say something disrespectful to follow up that statement.

I don't think it's a matter that holding a gun to someone's head is the criteria(sic) for decision making. Its an extreme way of saying that no one forced them to make their decision in the manner that they did. No one is suggesting that all decisions must be made with a gun to your head. (Hey, unless that's your thing. I won't judge.) It is only to suggest that the decision wasn't made under duress.
