I was watching the Blues' feed and they had an angle that appeared to show Kuzmenko being the player with the high-stick on the called off goal. Though, it didn't look high, either.

I was also watching that feed and I agree with you.

The correct way for the ref to handle that situation was to let the play proceed, and then review it. But by blowing the whistle and calling it a high stick, he eliminated the opportunity to get it right.
Whether Kuzmenko actually high sticked it or not (looked like not), is somewhat irrelevant. I mean, it's relevant to the game, obviously. But it isn't relevant with respect to whether or not the ref handled it properly. He did not.

I thought Miromanov looked unusually slow at times last night compared to his other viewings. Had me guessing he was under the weather a bit. Could be I was overthinking it, too.
Yeah they are not rolling over, it doesn’t feel like a death March when you watch the games. Gotta be tough though for the veterans like Coleman who are used to ramping up their play at this time of year.

Noticed that too. I think on a couple of them though, he was caught flat-footed. Likely a combination of things, because I think his skating is much better than what we saw last night.

Coleman was a little slack the last couple games, especially when they fell behind. It's tough being motivated after a lot of success and knowing this year is just one to file away.

I think he’s just slow. He’s a pretty slow decision maker as well. Telegraphs passes at times. At least he did when he first showed up.

You have to wonder how many of the vets are going to want to know what the go forward plan is heading into the offseason. If it’s to strive to be the worst team in the league for a number of seasons I’m wondering how many of them will ask for trades.
