A jersey similar to the retros would be perfect. Please don't mess this up.

Will be happy if there is no pipeing, vertical stripes, fire breathing horse head, flag shoulder patches. Hope the complete uniform has minimal/no black. Flames should be red, white and yellow. Generally, less is more. Clean and simple is preferred

Also, hope Adidas doesn't have Reeboks ridiculous 'tail' on the bottom.

Hoping the Sabres get rid of all their ridiculous piping and the grey armpits too. They're close to the perfect jersey as is, just need to simplify a bit.

I would be thrilled with the retro set becoming our new home and away jerseys. I'd also be happy with a retro inspired set, ie. no piping, clean design, in red white and gold. I can live with a jersey in the current colour scheme but with a new, simple design.

What we'll probably get, though, is the current set but with more blue, more "edgy" piping and numbers on the front.

I'll give them credit, we've had almost zero leaks so far so they're doing a good job of keeping things under wrap this time.

Is there any indication whether they will be ugly or nice? Objectively speaking.

Neat that it has its own event. During his address, Bettman said it would take place during the awards ( I thought). Man, if you can't take the commish at his word...

It's because they still haven't decided to go with a flaming C or a flaming Q obviously.

Bracing myself for another crushing disappointment, some more hot garbage where they feel compelled to modernize the retro design by adding black ridiculousness, then to watch the team run with it for a decade.

I'm a big sucker and will end up with multiple versions of the new uniforms regardless of how they look.

I'm not a jersey nerd but I am excited to see the new digs as I feel the current uniforms are kind of stale and nowhere near as nice as the retros and a downgrade on the 2003-2007 jerseys.

Still holding onto hope that Barnes is actually on the Jersey creation team and was secretly polling us in the other thread. I can't picture a better design than those threads

And the new emblem on the front will be a homeless guy, who may or may not look a lot like Ken King, with his hand out begging for money.
