Default Olli Jokinen injured
Admittedly, one of my favourite players is Olli Jokinen. I enjoyed meeting him last year when the Predators played the Jets in Winnipeg. I have been curious throughout the off-season to see if/when he would land with any other club.

There hasn't been much news or rumors from what I have seen. I stumbled across this link

Translated, it says that he hurt his shoulder in the first game of last season which was a contributing factor to his poor output and his lack of play towards the end of the season. He also claims that all teams were aware of his situation in July and that he requires surgery to correct it.

It will be curious to see if he is able to get another crack in the NHL once he is healed up and ready to go.

Olli Jokinen is a legend. Named by 43 pound shih tsu/aussie cross after him. Hopefully he can get some sort of opportunity and rebound.
