I barely saw Sharangovich and Lindholm after the first period. I think they were resting those guys with the game pretty much in the bag. Coronato played a ton.

Huberdeau better play like that during the season. He took the shots when they were there. So many obvious shooting situations last year and he passed.

I feel sorry for the guy who has to figure out goal songs for players. He may be scrambling trying to find some tunes by opening night.

Very happy to see Huberdeau have a good game. So important for him to have a bounceback season for many obvious reasons.

Coronato looked good. Oesterle also looked good.

I thought the special teams made them play a lot less 5 on 5. They were both on PP1 and PK1.

I know you should never get too high or too low after a pre-season game, but that was still a pretty big win for a team that needs some swagger.

Huberdeau and Markstrom getting some early confidence is really important for the team to get off on the right foot.
