Game ideas

I am hoping to enlist the help of the CP brain trust to assist me in coming up with a game idea.

Every year, my wife and I along with 3 other couples enter a charity golf tournament. We've been doing this for about 10 years now.

However, every year we struggle as to how to pick our teams. We typically dont team up with our spouses. However we do golf together as a team of 8.
Every year we come up with some sort of game to play to pick the teams.
teams of 2 must be male/female. Usually the first place male gets teamed up with the last place female.

So, I need a game that we can play that will help us determine rankings of 1-4 for both male and female so that we can pick our teams for next years tournament.

Golf terminology trivia?

Give the guys/avid golfers tough ones and the gals/casual golfers easy ones.
