any issues with e-Transfer of Flames tickets?
I have never had an issue before. Just wondering if anyone has ever had an issue. I always thought that if you transferred tickets via TicketMaster you could always take them back if receiver chose not to pay. But I guess this is not the case.

Almost always with any tickets it's pay first, ticket after. You try to discuss via email, text, phone before hand. Don't think you can take it back via the site. Sometimes it takes a few minutes for the e transfer to come thru, like TD's.

I can't see Ticketmaster allowing you to take them back, as it brings them into a debate. They have no skin in the game for this debate, and would use this to point you to using their site for selling.
Like BBB101 said, some e-transfers can take up to 20 minutes to come through. But I would have waited for the money to go through first.

How do you reassure someone that sending money first is safe?

Kind of the name of the game, I only buy from users who have a decent history on here and do my due diligence.
If they can't take the risk then they should look at buying tickets elsewhere.

I guess thats fine for selling here. But Calgary puck is really not a sales medium.
I guess i just wish i also had the hard copies of my tickets so that i could sell them that way too. Handing someone a print just looks ridiculous

I buy and sell tickets a fair bit on here. I always ask for money first and then give tickets after. The one time I sent tickets first with a sob story of 'ok if I pay you on payday?' I got stiffed. Lesson learned. I guess it comes down to trust on both sides but typically money first works. In saying that, last tickets I bought (islanders last sunday) I received the tickets before I even had a chance to send the e-transfer, which I then did. If you want to stick around here you do the right thing. The guy that ripped me off no longer posts under his username.

If I'm ever selling it has to be money first in m opinion. I'm more often a buyer and I also assume that I have to take that risk of paying first before someone gives me a product but that's just the chance you take when buying something second hand. I love this site because I trust the sellers on here for flames tickets. It's always the first place I look if I want to go to a game.

As a frequent buyer, I'd expect to have to pay first.
At times when buying as a "repeat customer" I've had some sellers send the tickets on good faith before the eTransfer has arrived.

I usually try and get some sort of personal information from the person (work email or something) in case I get screwed.
This has helped him in the past.

If you got screwed couldn't you just call up Ticketmaster and say someone hacked your account and sent your tickets....?

Send them the PDFs of the tickets via email, don't actually transfer them.
If they are still in your account, you can re-print, which then invalidates the ones you will have emailed, if payment goes sideways.
