I'm with you...but I can't imagine them being anywhere near the playoffs

Lack 1st star, shutting off CBC now

Lance hits the open net and the Flames win 2-1, Lack/Canucks would have been booed off the ice for the 14 shot effort

good effort but the Flames had nothing offensively, the passing wasn't crisp, and they looked tired - their feet weren't moving. I think all the call-ups, travel, back-to-backs, etc caught up with them tonight.

With respect to execution, that was one of their worst games in quite a while. Oh well, never unhappy when the effort is there

Hrudey just loves everyone... its not a Canucks thing, he just compliments every player and has nothing bad (or interesting really) to say about anyone.

Canucks goal of a 9th place finish is closer with every game...I'm ok with them winning this one. Flames keep their draft pacing but with a non-edmonton attitude. Series is now 3-3 I think...next game is the decision maker? If you go by the 7 game series mantra.

Shhh. You may only point out flaws and draw conclusions about networks favourite teams based on cherry picked comments.

I'm curious, I bet of you went to the Canucks board they'd be angry about Hrudey's embarrassing love for the flames

Gift wrapped three PPs to end the game and couldn't get it done. Hate losing to the canucks.

Don't get the Hrudy comments. He's not a canucks homer, he's a goalie homer. Always has been. Felt bad for Lack, so he pumped his tires the rest of the way.

I usually dont hate on Hrudey...but to say Lack gave was inspiring was going waaaay overboard. It likely had more to do with the situation in Vancouver with Lou and the fans ect. but still. Guy made maybe one or two good stops and let in a shot from center

lol Markstrom on After-Hours trying to avoid the question of his reaction to being traded to Vancouver. Asked again point-blank, pauses, "uhh I was shocked, and I uhh think this is a good opportunity for me."

Definitely not too excited about the trade.

Just got back from the game:

-There is not a chance that this Canucks team will win a playoff round
-Bouma is such a warrior. Players of his kind don't come along very often at that young an age
-Fully confident that Monahan will be a top 5 player in the league at some point. We were buzzing in almost every shift he played. Hard to believe he just turned 19. I'm confident he would have better point totals than MacKinnon if he played on the Avs
-Cammalleri was kinda brutal...
-Granlund is definitely a keeper. He's pretty poised out there and plays PP and PK

I'm now 1 win, 8 losses when attending Flames games

Eddie Wack flukes out a win despite allowing one from centre ice

I agree with your assessment other than the highlighted point. MacKinnon is more dynamic than Monahan. Monahan will definitely be a great player there is no doubt about that!

Hrudey has been on board and fellating the Nucks for a while now.

Back to back against a fresh a##hole team waiting.

I'm proud of how the young guys held their own.

I really want, as bad as it sounds, for those creeps to get in. I think they may do it. I still wanted the W more, but now, let this be the springboard for their playoff failure!

We've defined their season once. Lets do it again.

Last game of the season. Looking forward to it.

Fair enough. I'm just super excited after seeing Monahan in a live game for the first time

Had tickets to the game but stupid work had to get in the way of me being there. I, however, would have attended another Flames loss at Rogers Arena. I can't remember the last time I was at a Flames game at Roger's where the Flames won.

Anyways from the bits and pieces I saw it seems the Flames played a pretty decent game, just couldn't put a 2nd past Lack.

Oh well, can't win 'em all.
