Business Insurance Recommendations

The Power Ring is a wasteland of insurance threads with no responses so I thought I'd try out here. Can anyone recommend a business insurance broker/company that they've had experience with?

We're going to be moving out of the home office and need to get some general liability insurance.

I just went to my broker. Got business liability and commercial building insurance (I own my own building) from them through SGI (sask general insurance). I'm in Alberta and broker is western financial. Also have a tenant and liability business policy through them for my other business location.

I've been dealing with Renfrew for about 10 years with a couple businesses...everything from general liability to Errors and Omissions to property, business continuity and vehicle. Generally, pretty happy.

I've used the Kanetix.ca insurance finder website with great success over the years. I do all my insurance needs through them and have save many $$ and still get great coverage.

I don't have any names for you, but i you hit up a broker, be sure they are independent.

Some brokers, ie: Broker Link put themselves out there are independent. Broker Link is owned by Intact Insurance.

Federated Insurance. Beat Renfrews price by about 2500 bucks. We insure 10 vehicles and a body shop for around 10k a year.
