They play it like it's 3 on 3.

Have some cultural awareness, that's called a swimming pool in Edmonton.

I agree. I don't think it should be hard to celebrate or take in something enjoyable without violence.

The infighting and rioting seem to be characteristic of Edmonton and Vancouver fans. There is an established pattern there.

You never really saw that with regularity here. It would just be a one off situation when it did happen as happens when young people gather in one place.

Usually not in the concourse of your teams arena... thats just lowly, uncivilized behavior to do it there. These aren't random casual fans who arent really fans, they're paying fans at the venue. And even if it's the kids of said paying fans its still a bad look. No Gooders are raising more & more delinquency-prone idiots and not keeping them in check.

But then again it just trickles down & out from the top there and the culture established by hiring the Kanes and Perrys of the world.

Someone can prove me wrong, but I don't see brawls at Cowboys or the other open air concerts at Stampede. Maybe security is better trained.

Just google Calgary stampede fights, you will get your answer. Take a dose of testosterone, add in an unhealthy mix of alcohol, a dash of crowded conditions and a pinch of women or sports and you have fighting.

That said they are pushing booze reallly really hard around the game right now, it’s pretty disgusting.

I literally think people are just on average more civilized down here and have less to be mad/act recklessly about.

Calgary is much more of a town of opportunity than Bumonton, and more internationally connected. There are interesting places to escape to just a stones throw from our back step. As a result of these factors you just see a more well reasoned and collaborative culture.

With the oil boom of the past simmering down over the decades, Edmonton is essentially becoming an overgrown ghetto that's a dead end for those born and raised and a temporary step before discovering Calgary for immigrants and opportunity seekers coming west.

Some folks I know are Oiler fans and they went on a girl's trip to a game in Edmonton. Some guys started yelling and cussing at them on the escalator because they said they were moving to slowly. The escalator was full and nobody was moving. Everyone was in Oiler sweaters. The Oilers and most of their fans are no good.

That city just looks like an industrial wasteland.

Do you ever get sort of an uneasy feeling in your stomach when you drive Edmonton Trail?

And that should be 2-11 without the Blake Coleman "kicking motion".

Only fight I've seen at an event in Calgary was at the jubilee of all places. Right in the middle of a George thorogood and the destroyers concert.

I like the definitiveness of this. How do you do it? Is there a form you can fill out, or do you just have to kill him?
