I figured this is why Hunter and Bobbi are getting their own show so they can do all the espionage/counter-espionage type stuff there, and focus on powered people in Shield. I'm kinda hoping with Dr. Strange coming in November, that they start focusing on magic in Shield! Inhumans vs. Magicians!
I'd like a combination of the incredible hulk and a failed vegas magician
Watch while I pull a rabbit out of your chest cavity.

I could see Cumberbatch and Ruffalo making a solid buddy cop pairing. One provides the razzle dazzle, the other one provides the unfettered violent rage.
Marvel's Most Wanted not picked up by ABC...Bring Bobbi back!
Quote:
Additionally, ABC has passed on picking up Agents of SHIELD spinoff Marvel's Most Wanted after redeveloping the project from last year. Following the adventures of Bobbi Morse (aka Mockingbird) and Lance Hunter, SHIELD favorites Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood were set to reprise their roles after exiting the flagship series earlier this season. Delroy Lindo, Oded Fehr and Fernana Andrade were set to co-star in the drama from writer Paul Zbyszewski.
That's who I hoped was on the Quinjet instead of Lash.
Huh...that makes a lot of sense. Although... at the same time Hive can also just turn him into a fleshy mush so maybe not?
Which brings up a side question, can Hive turn an inhuman into mush with his parasites, but chooses to just control them instead? Can he turn humans into slaves? If he's just manipulating the pleasure centres of the brain, could he not do that to humans too in theory?

They keep indicating that its only inhumans that can be swayed, which is what he was designed to do by the Kree, control their inhuman army.

They by line was that a key agent was going to die tonight, and they did a few false deaths with Mac getting shot at point blank range only for Yo Yo taking the bullets.
BTW I loved it when she stated that Mac set her on fire. When he used a blow torch to stop her bleeding.
Chloe Bennett did a great job of playing a Daisy consumed by her guilt over her actions and begging Hive to take her back.
BTW that was another hint as Daisy ended up with the cross and jacket that we saw in her visions of her death, but in the end Lincoln took her place and took hive into orbit with his warhead and detonated it killing them both.
BTW I'm going to miss Ward/Hive, Tonight was his strongest performance as he played both the cool Hive and the unhinged Hive dealing with his memories. In the end it was kind of poignant with Hive staring at the earth and calling it beautiful and stating that he only wanted to make it better. He was a villain that believed he was doing the right thing.
We finally got the face to face sort of between Hive and Coulson, Hive stated that he intended to take over Coulson and live in the shadows of Shield only to find out that Coulson was a hologram. We then got the hilarious Coulson line
"I've always wanted to do this . . . Help me Obiwan Kenobi, you're my only hope."
With Hive dead and the warhead and lincoln destroyed, a guilt ridden Daisy left shield and we see her 6 months later, where she has gone rougue and robbed a bank to give the widow of the man who gave her her vision the money and give her daughter a wooden bird. We then saw Daisy using her powers to escape by leaping over a building.
The season ended with Doctor Radcliffe having a drink to celebrate the end of his hearings and activating a Life Model Decoy.
BTW I really hope he returns next year, he's a extremely funny character. When he confronts Talbot and states that his mustache must make him a extremely powerful man of influence.
Fitz had a hero moment as he killed the inhuman who controlled metal with an invisible gun.
May and Simmons didn't have a ton to do in this episode, but they each had some nice moments.
Overall a very strong season, with a lot of interesting storylines going into next year.

Terrific season yet again, and I think Daisy did an outstanding job, she had to show how powerful his grip on her was and how the withdrawal was incredibly strong, her begging him to take her back was so well done.
In the beginning of the series, she was the weakest link just plain character and acting wise, but it really started turning around in season two, and she was just consistently strong this year.
I really again want to re-iterate that part of me is sad to see Brett Dalton go, looking back at the start of the series he played Ward as a wooden stoic duty filled guy who went out of his way to save team members. The Hydra turn was the most fun plot twist that I've ever seen, and he became a scene chewing villain and went from a guy who almost regretted his betrayal to a outright villain and just when you thought he was done. He shifted his character again and combined the two with a scene cheering villain with very little emotion. He did a great job.
Overall I really like this show, the rumor is its moving to a later time slot and its going to be darker.
So the two questions that we have left
Who is the new director of Shield, I'm tempted to say its General Talbot who was great in this show, or it could be Ming.
Second of all, we've seen what looks like a LMD, I kind of figure that we're done with inhuman villains for a while. So are we going to have an artificial villain.
Could they built a lmd of Ward?

Was stuck in Winnipeg this week and couldn't watch the finale until tonight. Ask me last week and I would have said killing Lincoln would have been a cop out to keep the original core. But after watching the episode it made the most sense for driving (miss!) Daisy's character. Also dat Hive/Quake battle!
Was good to see Hive's true face. And yeah it's a bummer seeing Brent Dalton go. The LMD they showed seemed to have a female silhouette, so probably not Ward. Not that that precludes making an LMD of him. But I sorta doubt they go that route.
Pretty unexpected ending with that sudden 6 months later pop up. Pretty cool seeing Coulson suddenly becoming a field guy. New season should be a blast with yet another turn in the plot!

I think the true face of Hive was the most disappointing, not in concept but in execution, the CGI just didn't seem to work and he looked like a Jedi Knight from Phantom Menace.

Naww... it's got to be the one and only...Fury. Back from hiatus, and with it's reputation restored with the US Government, SHIELD can go back to it's pre Civil War stature. (anyone know if Sam Jackson is busy?)
Talbot isn't enough into the spy side of SHIELD, he's a soldier.
True, and I do think its probably Fury that's going to head shield. But from a distance and maybe we see him a couple of times next year.
I just really want Talbot as the local head of shield. The chemistry and banter with Coulson was epic especially in the last few episodes of last season.
