According to this tweet (https://twitter.com/WestJet/status/4...838465/photo/1), this paint job is 300 lbs lighter than the old one.

I thought it was a wrap. That must have cost a fortune to paint.

Perhaps an MCO spotter can get a better picture than we'll be able to take here today.

Not 100% sure, but I think I saw it climbing over Panorama at about 10:30. I guess I am sure, it couldn't possibly have been anything else. It will be back from MCO later and most likely RON to fly out tomorrow.

Air Canada is picking up some slack from cancelled flights today and operating two flights with the 777-300:

YYZ-YYC: http://flightaware.com/live/flight/ACA121
YVR-YYC: http://flightaware.com/live/flight/ACA214

Both flights will turn around and operate back to YYZ and YVR.

Air Canada has launched a website for its new 787's:

http://787.aircanada.com/en

It indicates the first scheduled route (after familiarization flights) will be YYZ-TLV.

Can't wait. Will be even better once we get regular 787 service. Here is a breakdown of what AC's 787 will look like.

AC 84 YYZ-TLV (Toronto - Tel Aviv) on July 1st is showing as the first int'l 788 in the timetable, it's a 763 at the moment. It'll do YYZ-YUL, YYZ-YVR, and probably YYZ-YOW rotations first but I don't see those booked in... didn't look very hard.

It would be nice if they could throw at least one YYC flight in there somewhere.

If they're serious about PEK then I'd expect to see a rotation or two. I think we had both the 77W and 77L here.
