Anything I should bet in Vegas while I'm there for th next 4 days?
thats the thing i don't get about Vegas. Before i went people were telling me how great the sports books were and when i got down there it was a huge disappointment. It maybe had about the 1/4 of the lines of the internet betting sites and the odds sucked.
So what is so good about them? is it because you can bet more than $10k at a time?

Depends on how much you're willing to bet. Any of the above picks will work. The sportsbook at MGM Grand is pretty good, and it's a great atmosphere to watch the college games on Saturday and the NFL games on Sunday. Just make sure you get there a good hour or more before kickoff so you can get a chair.
If you want a fun bet, go with the Detroit Lions to win the Super Bowl (183 to 1 odds).

Fun yes...but i'd rather spend that money getting drunk then hoping an 0-16 team makes a huge turn around
Sorry i meant to say buy half a point for the Packers to move it down to 3. And Meant to put a minus in front of the texans line. Like them both though

Don't waste your money in Las Vegas. Pinnacle and Matchbook are the only places worth having as outs these days. Maybe Olympic (www.thegreek.com) as well, though they deal ten cent lines. Highly reliable though.
Layed it down pretty big on the SOx and looks like its turning out great and the Yankees are just putting another nail in the Yankees coffin. My 3 favorite sports to bet on are all going on now with the NFL and NCAA season along with baseball.
Sigh, I hate to admit it, but the Chiefs aren't getting more than three points in this game. I think they'll lose 17-3. So yeah even though the Ravens aren't a scoring team take them and the points here.
Cincinnati -4.5 over Denver
Cincy is a 4.5 point favorite in Denver? I think the Broncos could be terrible but for them to lose at home in week one doesn't happen often. I'd be wary of that one. I think they'll need a bit more time to completely implode on McDaniels.
Jacksonville +7.5 over Indianapolis
Jacksonville is starting two rookie tackles on their offensive line in a noisy environment and Maurice Jones Drew may no be at 100% fitness yet. I like the Colts to cover this spread since Manning didn't miss training camp this year.
San Diego -9 over Oakland
San Diego cold be a 27 point favorite in this game and I'd still go with them. A lot of people seem to be rooting for Tom Cable as the Raiders coach to do well. I think a lot of people will be saying he's a good football guy he'll catch on somewhere esle when he gets fired in a few weeks. Imagine Mike Keenan in 30 years having complete control of a hockey team. Thats basically what Al Davis has become. I enjoy the comedy.

I'll second the Matchbook recommendation. Pretty much eliminates the juice.
