Yeah, maybe the 2003 game in Florida. I think them wearing the dark jerseys as away makes sense, wasn't changed until next season. Probably a warm up shot.

There is no reason the flames should lose this game. Av's top 2 defenders are out, as well as Duchene. Av's have been letting 40 + shots on their netminder in the last week or so. Credit to Varlomov for the only reason they have been picking up any points.

As long as Calgary gets shots on the netminder they will be fine.

Flames win 4-2.

No way Flames will lose this one. This is a weak ass Colorado team. 4-1 for the Flames.

The radio ad on the boards is for a Florida sports radio station so you are probably correct.

#30 is Philippe Sauve in both the Shootout pics (3-2 Flames SO win) and the fight with David Aebischer (7-4 Avs win).

Yes, these are their opinions, and they're allowed, but I still don't understand it.
Do you ever look at the standings? The Flames have an identical record to the Oilers, and we have given up 12 more goals. So consider that when people tend to go over the top, it's not entirely without cause.

Center Matt Duchene, who missed Tuesday's 3-2 shootout loss at San Jose with a groin injury, didn't participate in an optional practice Wednesday but hasn't been ruled out of Thursday's game. Duchene leads the Avs in scoring (17 points), assists (11) and average ice time (21:21), playing 17-of-18 games. He had off-ice treatment Wednesday and will be a game-day decision. ... Defenseman Erik Johnson skated before some of his teammates Wednesday. He suffered a concussion Feb. 11 against the Phoenix Coyotes. Johnson and defenseman Ryan Wilson, who has missed 10 games with an ankle injury, remain out indefinitely. ... Semyon Varlamov will start in goal.

A win tonight and the Flames are 7-4-3 for the month of February, a point percentage of 61%
