Default Found QC autographed jersey in Auckland

Not sure if it worth an own thread, but I was amused enough to share. As I was walking around Auckland downtown I stumbled into a shop that was selling a Quad City jersey with some autographs on it. Must be quite a journey from QC to New Zealand. Wonder what's the story behind it.

No, but if there is any interest, I can buy and ship to Calgary for no added fee. At the moment I don't know the price because I did not ask. I also do not know what is the number and name on the back, if any.

All I can make out of those Autographs are Dan Ryder and Brett Sutter...looks like it could be 2006-2007.

It's 08/09, Jamie Lundmark #21 only played that year

Brett Sutter #27 and Dan Ryder #29 are also on there.

My guess is it belongs to Gord Baldwin and NZ is where his career took him? He got this jersey signed kind of how kids get their camp t-shirts signed for the memories.

Why would Gord Baldwin's career bring him to New Zealand? assuming he took up a different career there after hockey help me in understanding why he would take and sell a worthless team jersey all the away across the globe?

It looks small, but how much is it?

Thanks for posting! Cool find!

I once saw a homeless man wearing a 'Calgary Puckers' softball jersey. After some super-sleuthing failed miserably and I resorted to just asking him 4x4 admitted to donating his to a shelter.

And now you know......the rest of the story....
