Yup, nice and simple and makes sense, but really makes you feel like you got something out of it. I know a lot of posters here love to make fun of Darryl's broken english (i.e. posting pictures of him making silly faces) and treating him like a ######ed person, which was very insulting... but they are mistaken, Darryl is a very very cognitive man. He might not use big, fancy words like new management but his understanding is solid.

Sutter, on Toffoli’s 28 AHL goals and his current status:
“The American League is the second-best league in the world. This is his first year out of major junior hockey. He was having a good year. We have a roster spot while we’re playing 10 games in 14 days, or whatever, and if we need a player, it’s too difficult to get a player from [Manchester]. It would be totally useless for our organization to fly a guy from Manchester to San Jose today to play tomorrow. It’s hurting the player. So I’d rather have the player available here. I don’t know if he’s going to play one minute, or if he’s going to have two practices. I couldn’t tell you that. He didn’t take somebody’s spot. He’ll have to earn it at some time. So the ‘fascination’ – there is no fascination. He’s 20 years old. He’s got lots to learn. I remember being in his shoes, too.”

I can't find it or remember it exactly but back when he was with the Flames he had a killer quote that had something to do with playing in the pacific time zone and how by game time most of the guys are "ready for their jammies". It got a chuckle out of the reporters and he said something along the lines of "serious, most of these older guys, by the time 7 pacific comes around, they're in their pj's, they're ready for bed". I laughed about it for a long time, my brother and I saw it live and mimicked that one for months.
I wish I could find the exact quote. Anybody remember this?
