That's Hathaway's 4 PPG. He has 6 on the year.

Hanowski on a partial breakaway but the save is made.

Hanowski got the puck after it was shot at his leg and bounced.

And we have a huge scrum in front of Ortio's net after he makes a big save. There's gloves and bodies everywhere.

I think I saw a trapper hit someone in the back of the head while pushing. He does like to fight.

Hathaway looks like he took the only penalty. Roughing call.

Ortio being forced to work now. Wolves have had a couple of good chances late in the 1st here. He's coming up huge though.

Whatever problem Ortio had to start the season - he has certainly worked through it. It may not be prudent at the moment but I'd love to find a way for him to get into a game in Calgary at some point in the near future.

Yea, Ortio really needs another audition in the NHL but someone has to be injured for it to happen and I don't wish that on either of our current goalies.

He's not good enough to say trade away Ramo or something and give him the spot, but he really does need a call up here. He's working his butt off here.

Huska Interview:

Early Game - It is a little different and out of the comfort zone but we will see how it goes. Sure the guys will do a good job and be focused.

Winning Streak - At times they've been good with not turning over pucks and not giving teams chances to get back into the game, but they've also had games with far too many turnovers and giving chances. They need to put puck in rather then go through people with it.

Late Goals - They want to be a team like Calgary where they are best conditioned in the league. Goes to show the work the players are putting in on and off the ice. They can use the bench and wear teams down late in the game.

Confidence of Team - Might be a young team, but no one is folding under pressure. Taking lots of pride playing as a team.

Goalies - Playing with TONS of confidence. Making saves for the team. Team knows they can trust them.

Baertschi/Poirier - Have been playing good and want them to start developing better chemistry. Looking for them to generate some offense. Arnold is with them to teach them defensive responsibility. Arnold is stronger with defensive zone coverage and allows them to generate some more offense but also teaching them to come back a little bit more.

Flames have killed off the remaining time from the penalty in the 1st.

Our defense have been some of the best offense so far this game. Culkin and Cundari look more like wingers then d-men.

Yonkman making yet another sound defensive play this game. He's easily been the strongest defenceman on the ice today. Breaking up plays and stopping potential breakaways.

Ortio playing with some swagger. Ortio comes up past his crease to challenge a couple of Wolves who are in alone and makes the huge save.

And Baertschi nails one of the kids in the crowd with a shot that hopped over the boards. Kid looks to be bleeding.

Way to go Sven

And we have a fight.

Ferland going with Veilleux.

Ferland drops him pretty quick.

Kids loving it.

Aside from the fight, not alot going on in the 2nd, hence the lack of updates. 10 minutes to go in the 2nd and only 4 SOG between both teams.
