Elson is an undrafted forward who was invited to the Flames Rookie Camp in 2011 and earned an NHL contract with the Flames. Elson played 4 years with the Red Deer Rebels (WHL) where he was Captain of the team before making the jump to pro last season splitting time between the Abbotsford Heat and Alaska Aces (ECHL). He was part of the Kelly Cup winning Aces team contributing 11 points during 21 games. Turner is currently playing on the final year of a 3 year, two way contract and will become a RFA at the end of the year.

• This is the 1st of two meetings between Milwaukee and Adirondack this season. They will play again on January 17th.
• Last season, the Heat won the season series 3-1 with 3 of those games going into OT or a shootout.

A little bit. They're playing what looks like a 1-2-2 High. Not a total defensive mode, but definitely a bit more conservative.
