Really starting to appreciate these GDTs here in backburner. Concise, people throwing knowledge around, and completely lacking in the superfluous turd found in Wednesday's sabres GT. Scotch glass salute to D18.
Would love to see Vause play with Ferland today.

Coverage might be a little spotty tonight. Friday's during December are always crazy busy for me. I hope to be back midway through the first and hopefully the entire second and as much of the third as I can.
No word yet on lineup or starters. I'm pretty sure Ortio will get the start.

End of 1st Period
0-0
Shots on Goal: 10-8 Flames
(apologies to all about lack of coverage. My usually independent child decided not to be tonight so I'm at the Xmas party with her. On the upside, they left me in charge of a candy table)

Elson with the tip off of Potter's point shot! 2-1 Flames. Ferland gets the secondary assist.

Finally got back to a feed.
Sounds like the Flames have started to shut down into defensive mode.

Hypothetically speaking, if a right winger goes down on the big team, which baby Flame gets called up? Is Poirier first call up?

Drury/PMM is Baertschi building on anything today or is he mostly invisible?

A little bit. They're playing what looks like a 1-2-2 High. Not a total defensive mode, but definitely a bit more conservative.
