Feel bad for Wolf, he was robbed.

Reinhart with a fancy move to get a puck on Makarov and another save.
That was the Flames 26th SOG.

That was a "Range of Emotions" play. Shocked by the Wolf play, in awe of that awesome shot, saddened by the save, amazed by the Makarov save.

I've been pleasantly surprised how good offensively Hanowski has looked. I was never really sold on his abilities heading into this season.

Flames needs to stop shooing for Makarov's glove. Pretty obvious we won't be beating that.
Go blocker or short side boys. He's slow there!

Amerks take a cross check penalty behind the play.
Flames going to the PP.

He wasn't very good in the preseason, but has definitely turned it around. Hopefully he gets a chance to stick in the NHL soon. With how good the rest of the kids of have been, it might become difficult for him to get an opportunity.

Reid took a puck to the face but he looks like he might be okay.
Edit: He's on the bench now but missing a shift.

Hanowski rings one off the bar after a terrible Amerks turnover.

Reinhart with a good shot at the end of the PP but Makarov somehow keeps it out. Few Flames trying to smack that in.

Shots are now 32-14 in favour of the Flames. It's a shooting gallery on Makarov tonight.

Hanowski picks another Amerks pocket and gets it to Vause who puts in on Makarov and another save.
They are relentless.

Amerks Goal
Grigerenko
2-1 Flames
That was a bad turnover. Grigerenko just walked right in and shot.

Are the Sabres and their "wealth" of young talent just smoke and mirrors, or what?

We have a push fest. Wolf and Ruhwedel pushing around.
Wolf gets a penalty.
McCabe and Hanowski playing a little jousting and jawing.
Don't fully agree with Wolf getting the only penalty. Guilty yes, but so was Ruhwedel.

Flames are outworking them BY FAR!
Reinhart, Hanowski, Vause and Wolf having absolutely terrific nights. Hanowski and Reinhart have been channelling their inner Poirier or something.
Cundari is playing almost defensive beast mode.
Amerks just can't get a chance.

PBP Q & A:
How have Flames changed game since start of season: Guys are playing like a team. Players were being too "creative" to start the season, they were trying things, but there was no structure. Players have bought into system that Huska has put in place. Defence knows when to jump in play, Forwards know when to help D. Lines have gained chemistry. Team also had 9 rookies on the roster and so they needed time to adapt.
What player or players have most impact on win streak. What can they improve on?: Knight had a huge impact on that. Leader on the team. Tousignant had a big impact, told by Huska to settle down because he talked too much on the bench during the game, Arnold knows where to be on the ice at all times, great positioning on the ice. Arnold is also one of the hardest workers off the ice. Watches tons of video and works hard on his game. Ortio has been lights out and done an excellent job. Theissen proving to be an excellent backup.
