Unless the Penguins get hit with more injuries to key players I don't think Ottawa has a prayer in this. Pens in 5.

Wait, so Karlsson's actually out injured? That kind of makes any discussion about probabilities moot. They won't win a single game that doesn't have Karlsson in it, so the only real discussion is when does he come back?

I don't think there is any way that Ottawa can win this series. That said I keep underestimating this group. I think they'll find a way to hang around and make it a long series. Type of series where they're always chasing but end up in a game 7.

I'm going to continue to underestimate the Sens and say the Pens in 5.

He said he was playing with hairline cracks in his foot after the first round and that he should be good for round two. During round two, he looked like it was still an issue or maybe another injury came up. I don't think it's been reported that he's out, he'll most likely keep playing through it.

I still have a soft spot for Phaneuf, so I'm cheering for the Sens. Hoping for a Sens / Preds final. Bettman and the NHL would lose their minds that the cup finals features 2 small market teams lol.

All Sens. Somehow I feel like their motivation surrounding Anderson is unstoppable. They're gonna ride that emotion straight into a cup finals against Nashville.

IMO Penguins, Blue Jackets and Capitals were the three best teams in east. I don't see the Senators having much of a chance unless Fleury has a meltdown.

I'd like to see the Senators win for Bryan Murray. Couldn't imagine going through a critical illness like him not knowing when your time is up. Sens winning the cup might just take his pain away for now

If Crosby keeps being Crosby, I can't see the Pens being stopped. They have Murray waiting in the wings, Fleury playing red hot. They're just too damn good in too many positions. Should be a fun series though.

Pens in 6 games. I expect this will be a high scoring series.

Help, save, whatever.

I think the Sens have faced the tougher teams in the first two rounds.
Boston and NY are more of a challenge than Columbus and Washington.
I think the Sens take this.

No doubt New York is always tough, but going through Columbus and Washington is a brutally tough route to the conference finals.

Are you nuts?
The Caps are way WAY better than NY and Boston. Hell Mtl did not show up to play the Rangers that's the only reason they moved on. And Anderson was far from sharp vs the Rangers.

I would rather see the Sens take this, but the only way this can happen is Andersen stands on his head and it goes the full 7.

Funny that Phaneuf, Kessel, and Carlyle are all in the Conference Finals. Maybe they weren't the reason the Leafs couldn't win.
