I'm sorry but the game Nashville plays gives them just about 0 chance of winning this series. Ottawa had a chance because of the smothering game they play. I like the Pens in 5 games, maybe 6.

So it begins...
Quote:
A local Pittsburgh fish market is doing its part to prevent catfish from winding up on PPG Paints Arena ice.
With the Nashville Predators' tradition of throwing catfish onto the ice becoming a more common occurrence as the team treks forward in the postseason, Jim Wholey, the co-owner of Wholey's Fish Market has implemented new policy to keep Preds fans at bay.
"You have to show ID if you want to buy catfish here," Wholey said, according to Ben Schmitt of the Tribune-Review. "If you're from Tennessee, we're not selling it to you."

Wow, he wasnt pulling any punches, John Scott on PK Subban:
Quote:
"I don't like him. I think on the ice, he's a piece of garbage," Scott said, according to Puck Daddy's Greg Wyshynski. "Perceived as like a hot shot, (that) this guy thinks he's better than everybody."
The words are rather eye-opening and appeared to come out of nowhere, considering the two are not known for any on-ice animosity toward each other.

I didnt see that coming.
I initially really didnt like PK, I thought he was an arrogant showboater but I think for the most part that was just the hallmark of a young player finding his way in the league and in the meantime hes largely won me over, I'm a big fan of PK, his style wouldnt be my preferred style, but hey, to each their own.
I wonder if Scott's beef with PK has more to do with a lifelong, lowly-paid grinder being somewhat upset at a young star? Interesting either way.

Meh. You can understand why a plug like Scott who wasn't gifted and had to work hard just to scrape the bottom of the barrel would be somewhat turned off by the antics of a gifted young hot shot. That said I feel he went over the top in calling him a piece of garbage. His 15 minutes of fame are over and he should really think before dissing real NHL players.

Ick. NBC is using Blank Space by Taylor Swift in their Stanley Cup ads. Couldn't find something that wasn't three years old?
