Default Roku Canada Discussion

I just bought a TV that had built in Roku. I know Roku has been discussed in other threads, but I thought it would be nice to have a thread dedicated to the channels that are available in Canada. I also know that there are ways of making it appear that you are in the US, however I'd like to keep this thread about the channels available to Canadian subscribers.

Any suggestions?

I'm considering one as a Christmas gift and am wondering how it fares as a streaming media player?

Plex is my favorite app for the Roku. I have it streaming all my DVDs I copied to my server, works great.

Also, in Plex you can add Youtube, which gets around the fact that Roku doesn't currently allow Youtube as a separate channel. Works great if you make a playlist with your Youtube account.

Besides Plex and Netflix, we don't use any other channels in our home.

I did install the fish aquarium screensaver, its pretty cool.

I too just use Plex and Netflix on my roku. Plex has channels like CTV that plays all CTV content on demand. It's always up to date too.
