My friends dad was pals (he passed away 3 years ago) with Peter Green. They grew up together in England and shared a love for Blues.

Green had even come to Saskatoon a couple times and stayed at their house over the years. Quite an eccentric character from the stories my friend shared. Amazing guitar player.

Damn am I ever looking forward to this! I had no idea a live action Ghost in the Shell was even being made until today. Loved that movie.

Also, there's so much recognisable Hong Kong in this. The cemetery in this trailer is a place I walk past every day almost.

So much of the trailer looks very faithful to the original. Can't wait!

The Deadpool teaser I saw before Logan was a little different than the one posted here. The one here is way better.

It also says "Nathan Summers coming soon" on the phone booth. Nathan Summers is of course cable and the son of Scott Summers (cyclops) and jean grey's clone Madelyne Pryor.

In one of my all time favourite convoluted xmen stories baby Nathan was transported to the future where his half sister Rachel was living, despite being from a different future timeline. Rachel then transported Scott and the real Jean into the future where they raised him, before cable was transported back to the present.

Morena Baccarin, who plays Deadpool's girlfriend, is one of the leads in Firefly. Not sure of any other connection though.
