I can't believe this was actually made. Two completely incompatible fighting systems are going to have to be changed drastically to make them even remotely playable against each other so they won't quite be the games you recognize. Tekken has no fireballs, the latest Tekkens don't even have jumping!
I read somewhere there would be Street Fighter vs. Tekken by Capcom and Tekken vs. Street Fighter by Namco just to satisfy both camps by just pasting in the characters from the other universe into the fighting system of each universe.
so if Capcom and Namco can work together to bring this to fruition, then i want Street Fighter vs. Mortal Kombat damnit! you can hear how nuts the nerds get in that gameplay video for SF x Tekken, if a similar video was released showing Ryu and Scorpion facing off there would be a nerdgasm of epic proportions (myself included)

I've always liked Tekken over all other fighting games. This looks to use Capcom's fighting style with Tekken characters, so I'll pass.
Would rather stick with the Tekken series and their game engine.

I'm not sure why, but I never really got into Tekken as much. Perhaps because it is more . . . technical/tight? I'm not sure I gave it enough of a chance having button mashed it at the arcades originally when I was a kid.
That and I always thought the art for the Capcom fighters were pretty cool.
