For those picking it up tonight can you please comment on the user manual (i.e. is there a portion dedicated to the back story, unit description, etc....standard Blizzard stuff). This is probably going to sway me between a store copy vs a digital one. Please and thank you!

For reference, I picked up the Collector's Edition, but I'm sure the regular edition is similar. There is no physical manual to the game. It's on the install DVD. As the game is installing, it gives you an overview of the storyline of the original game from a Terran perspective. I haven't taken an in-depth look at the manual on the DVD quite yet as the game is still installing on my crappy little laptop.

There is a VERY minimal printed background "manual" in the CE.

If you are looking for more background, I highly recommend the novels and the comics that have been out there for quite some time.

That's a shame. I really liked Blizzard manuals. The Warcraft 3 one was great as was the Diablo 2 one. I guess I'll go with the digital version rather than physical, though there probably isn't a price difference between the two.

There's no limit to how many times you download and install the game. The only limit is on how many times your account can concurrently be logged into B.Net.

I keep getting beat, sometimes dragging it out but eventually losing. Zerg are hard to play but I'm starting to get the hang of it. I should have got a beta key because now I'm playing people who are familiar with the units.
