The new goggles also do nothing.

I think it's basically like signing a new 3 year contract starting from the day you upgrade.

If it is still under warranty, I would just take it in to the Apple store. They may very well fix it or just give you a new phone.

Both the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS came in at $299 with a contract, I think.

Is $100-$150 "a ton"?

Ohhh the ton of money I could have saved. I wish I could just think that way.

Ok, so give me the low down on these new iPhones announced today. I am nearly at two years of my contract on my 3G, what am I looking at in terms of cost to get a new phone when they come out? And when are they coming out...etc

If prices are exact same as USD (and they should be), upgrade prices are 16 gigs/$200, 32 gigs/300. If you're almost at 2 years they might/will probably just give you the upgrade price. They don't come out til July anyway.

The 32 GB is tempting.

I only did a brief search using the forum tools and thought this was the best place to post my question.

I have an iPhone 3G on Fido currently with $17.50 plan + $30 6GB data plan + $15 iPhone value pack. I'm going on vacation for a month in the US and I know Fido has international plans.

Just wondering what everyone would suggest getting if I want to use a bit of data and maybe minor phone calls. I assume I just call them up and ask for those parts to be added to my plan for August?

Thanks.

I highly doubt their International plan includes Data.

Fido has:
$25 for 40 minutes of US voice roaming
$10 for the data roaming add-on which allows you to pay $1 per MB of use (rather than the regular $5 per MB of use).

Pretty much the same as Rogers. I used Google Maps when I was in Phoenix, grabbed a few territories in "Own this World" and did 2 google searches while I was in the US and ended up pay $30 ($10 for the plan + 20MB)
