Satellite TV providers

I have recently moved home and need to get Satellite tv.

Any advice as to which of the providers offer the best product, pricing/deals, ease of dealing with?

My Dad has telus and the box is archaic to say the least. I have heard that the Bell reciever is quite responsive. I haven't heard much about shaw.

Are there any that I am missing? Any to avoid?

If your dad has Telus satellite, then he is using the same hardware that Bell uses. That does also beg the question, how old is his box?

Yeah, Telus uses the same hardware and programming. I'm with Bell and it's okay. Your dad's problems could be reception or a hardware problem.

Shaw also has satellite.
