But bottom line is the game is a very cool concept, worth the money imp.

PS4 version averaging at 74%, expect PC to get 78-82 with hopefully large visual and performance boost. Better than I anticipated for an indie game that took on such a huge scope; that's usually a recipe for disaster.

I just hope they add multiplayer and more animations, no reload... serious?

I'm really enjoying it. I've started off in a system with two massive ass planets that both have a bunch of animals and alien artifacts all over them so I'm just trying to discover all the artifacts and learn the language/history of the aliens. Really cool.

Found this podcast from CNET UK on the game... not sure if this will help or hurt anyone wanting to know more about the game.

The first few pages of this thread got me that good old fashioned feeling where I would do anything in the world to get this game.

But I still have a backlog of games and I can't keep up!

I still have to get Witcher III and Uncharted 4! Plus all my odds and sods games on Steam I never installed yet.

Witcher 3 is stupidly long, I'd play NMS first.

Seeing lots of reports that the PC version is bad, crashes, poor frame rate on fast computers, unable to even start the game. Glad I didn't give into the urge to buy it right away, hopefully they'll be able to make it work.

You could have always just bought it on steam tried it first hand instead of taking others word for it and refund it before 2 hours if its true.

Edit: Ok I take it back, I have never seen so many negative reviews on Steam and it went from the top seller to not on the list probably due to refunds. I will see when I get home

Edit: First positive review. "Refund button works well" I have never seen this in my life only 2 positive reviews and both are just jokes.

I preordered knowing I can get a refund if it's as bad as they say. For an indie game to charge AAA prices it better be perfect.

Sure looks like there are a lot of people playing...

May just be a "negative voices are loudest" situation.

Yeah some people I know have played a bit on PC and haven't had any issues with it other than not very good performance and complaining about the FOV (even though there is a slider it doesn't seem to go with what the slider says)

So after playing a bit more, one thing is sticking out that bugs me.

It needs a local map. One for planets and one for the solar system you are in.

I find myself sometimes visiting the same outpost on a planet that i have already discovered, land there , realize Iv'e been there before and waste resources launching over again.

I'm still having tonnes of fun, but this irks me.

I think I'm gonna wait until they patch the PC version, I've read its just riddled with issues.

The ones you've already visited are greyed out (or greyer) on your navigation than the ones that haven't been discovered.

Ive noticed that but the problem comes with the (or greyer) part. Sometimes it's not easy to distinguish. Still I'd like to be able to see a map that gets populated as I explore the area which would be nice should I ever return to the planet.

The other problem is when one of the greyer ones is next to a coloured one and so they kind of blend together.
