I couldn't care less if someone "stole" the ball from me and actually scored, but 99% of the time they screw up what would have been for me a 80%-90% likely goal. That's a massive PITA.
I've had the opposite happen to me too -- where me and a teammate are both lined up pretty good but he's a bit closer so I back off to let him go for it. Then he completely misses the easy shot and I'm too far away to follow up before its cleared. Most of the time now I just assume random players are bad at the game and go for it.
We win and I'm happy, no matter how much or little I contribute.
My new fault is trying to do too much now that I'm actually able to do most of the stuff I'd like to. Couple that with teammates who can't generate chances beyond trying to slowly circle the ball to the goal low and refuse to defend and it leaves me in an awkward spot to score and stop the other team from scoring at the same time.
On a lighter note, being able to dribble and juke past opponents is satisfying on its own.

Yeah that's a bizarre one, not only the absurd way it's set up but because all the other trophies in the game are pretty easy and not time consuming at all. I doubt anyone has got it legitimately yet.
And platinums that you cheese to get/get automatically (like The Walking Dead Season 1) end up feeling pretty hollow.

Are you playing on servers close to your area? Assuming you're in Calgary you should only have it search for servers in US West. You tend to get laggy games if people outside NA join NA servers too so just look at your ping versus everyone else's. If someone in your game has a ping over 200 it's probably going to be a slideshow.

Maybe they were trying to make up for giving us nothing but indie platformers on PS+. Before Rocket League I can't remember the last PS+ game I downloaded.

There was a patch on July 31, I haven't played since then but there were a couple really good updates. Love the punishment for quitting ranked games. Also online play counts towards the 500KM trophy now.
