Still a couple issues to iron out like stat tracking on parts and making ranked more legit. Already had a couple games where I ended up 2v3 or 1v3 and keeping it close.

I've had more of a problem with lag than anything. It can destroy a game when suddenly you're way out of a position or the ball teleports behind you and is suddenly in your net. When a game runs smooth it's brilliant though.
I've been experiencing that some games as well but attributed to my own personal connection (which has never been bad) since my ping ranges from 80 to 100. The worst is the ball teleporting but even subtle things like the ball bouncing before you touch it because of the latency difference is enough to ruin it.
The lag thing is cross-oceanic players playing on US servers. Hit Tab on PC to see the other in-game players, and guaranteed there will be some schmuck with a 150+ ping that the game is catering to due to his lag.
My streak of bad games was continuing last night so I decided I needed to shake things up. Changed the body on my car and put on white wing paint, a Canadian flag, and the snow blast boost trail. Won 4 of the next 5 and got 3 MVPs. Sometimes you just need a change to boost your confidence I guess!
Been playing ranked mostly now and the variety of matches is so refreshing when dealing with the more skilled players. Goes from pretty balanced teams that are in a 0-0 deadlock until the last minute, to intense back and forth where the ball hardly ever had a chance to bounce before being shot back and forth with hardly anybody missing their ball hit attempts.
And then you have circus shows by people who can hit aerial shots and saves reliably and I'm just sitting on the ground trying to contribute in some way.
That said, the number of times somebody gets dropped at the start of a match or quitters happens quite often I've noticed. Psyonix has mentioned they're looking to fix the first one but not sure how they'll address the second...
Had to deal with a couple 1v3s last night with people quitting when down by only 2.
And no, I didn't win. They got smart eventually and had somebody dedicated to ramming me. Got in my way at some point in OT and lost. Sigh.

Well done taking advantage of their bad positioning though. Up 3-1 against, 1 vs. 3, and one guy doesn't just hang back in the net waiting for shots? Bozos. Too bad you didn't pull it off!
I've been sticking to unranked because it will at least replace your players with an AI when people drop, and then look for new players to join in.
Me and Wood had a pretty good run in 2v2 Ranked this morning, went something like 7-4 or so before we broke off for lunch. It seems there's a lot more work that goes into 2v2 ranking however, as I'm just a hair over 250 in 2v2, but solo queing 3v3 here and there and I'm already 500+ silver.

Who knows how they work that out.
I thought about this last night and I think it has to do with the fact that somebody could be carried more often on a 3 man team vs a 2 man team. When you look at the leaderboards, Standard ranks are the highest with Duel being the lowest.
