Hm, I wonder if this is any good: https://www.trulyergonomic.com/store/index.php
I don't think I could handle no numeric keypad though.

I use this right now:

Sorry for the bump, but just saw this. An ergonomic split keyboard with real mechanical keys. No number pad, but fully programmable keys. Currently trying to raise $200k, about 25% of the way there. I'm very tempted...

Still using and loving my Blackwidow at work. Both people to the left and right have been laid off so can I type noisily without affecting anybody

That's an interesting design for a split/ergo mechanical keyboard and makes me realize that most of the benefit is keeping the hands at an angle rather than having those smooth curves on all the key layouts. I recently tried the new Microsoft ergo keyboard and I couldn't type at all and my speed went from 100 WPM to 30 WPM. I realized that I don't need an ergonomic keyboard since my fingers are already positioned at an angle when I type.

If you don't type via the home keys in the rigid prescribed fashion, you don't really need an ergonomic keyboard.

Been using a Logitech G910 Orion Spark for a few months now. It's a ridiculously good looking keyboard, the individual LEDs make for nice effects. The keys are...weird. Took alot of getting used to. Much quieter than other mechanicals I've used, as Logitech uses some kind of proprietary switch.

Been using a Roccat Ryos MK Glow for the last little while and it's awesome. Though it's a bit noisier than expected.

I like the split keyboards because you have full control over your wrist angle. You can even experiment with having the keyboard halves vertical which is supposed to be the most neutral position for your wrists. I've heard of having two keyboard halves vertically aligned on the chair armrests. Would love to try a setup like that out.

If we're going all out, I'd also like a zero-gravity chair/triple-monitor setup like at ergoquest. But baby steps...
