I'm actually looking forward to this game. From the Flames games I've seen this one shouldn't be boring. 4-3 Toronto final, with the Leafs scoring to in the 3rd period to win.
Those two trades are merely two reasons to hate that franchise. Your garbage post is a third. There are about 1967 more reasons to go.

Any questions?

If the Flames can play like they did against the Caps then the Flames win have no problems winning this won, this is the game I love to win more than any other Eastern team!! #FlamesTilWeDie

It is funny how everyone was happy to see the Leafs win last night, and now they're public enemy #1. They'll go back to being a favourite on Saturday against the Canucks.

I don't put a lot of stock into how the lines are put on paper. The only consistent lines anyways are Stajan and Monahan. Even then they'll get blended throughout the game.

You can have it like this too:

Glencross-Stajan-Jones, Cammalleri-Colborne-Galiardi
Baertschi-Monahan-Hudler, Bouma-Backlund-McGrattan

Now McGrattan is on the 2nd line. Thoughts?

Lines really mean nothing, the players that need to play will play.

Anyway, hopefully the Leafs will be reading their own press and drinking their own kool-aid since every team that has failed to take the Flames seriously so far this year has paid for it big time in the 1st period (Washington now twice, even though they ought to have known better the second time).
That's why I hope that Sportsnet are doing a Flames feed coz I don't want to listen to a CBC feed that are unbelievably pro-Leafs!!

Monahan gets 3G, 1A and is +3 to take the lead in rookie stats except goaltending.
Flames win 5-2, and Phaneuf is a -2 on the night.

Phaneuf will keep his streak of getting called for a penalty shot alive tonight.

A little bit off topic, when do we play Boston at the Dome?

I cheer for teams in this order.

1. Calgary Flames
2. Any team that is playing against Edmonton or Vancouver
3. The other Canadian teams (in order: Ottawa, Winnipeg, Toronto, Montreal)
4. Whichever team has more players on my fantasy team
5. Edmonton when they're playing against Vancouver
6. Not Vancouver

Is it really weird for a Flames fan to want to see any team beat Vancouver or Edmonton?

The national (TO) media has been pumping the leafs up (as usual). It's time to let the air out (again).
