I'm on the fence with Dark Souls 3. I love the series and did enjoy it but like Uncharted 4 I felt it was getting a little stale and repetitive. I suppose the Iginla thread here proves the power of nostalgia so maybe just playing the same good game over for a lot of people is good enough.

Not everyone played Dark Souls 1 & 2. Bloodborne brought a huge amount of people into the fold.

Elder scrolls online has been the only game this year that has kept my interest. After waiting in line for a midnight release of ff 13 I just can't bring myself to pay any money for a final fantasy game anymore so jaded

Mine would be Stardew Valley and XCom 2, mainly because those are the few that I played that actually came out this last year that I played significant time on. Overwatch gets a mention because it could be up there, but anything that has pay-for-content over top of full price gets an automatic downgrade.
