Pretty sure you can get the 90 dollar vip pass in a cpl days. That's the club side and is what I have bought in the past.

Unfortunately this year I'm going solo to the event so I was fine with grabbing section 107.

Nice. We're 107, row 10.

Just picked up tickets in the same area. Is it me or is the print at home a lot cheaper this year? I thought it was a lot more than the $1.50 it was this year.

I don't know if I am misremembering, but I thought it was around $5 a ticket last year which is why I do the will call. Although, with the Flames being the first game the line up to grab the tickets will just be ridiculous so you have to make sure you get there early or spurge on the print at home.

The will call opens in the morning. I take the quick walk from the hotel with the dog,a coffee and my medication it's a nice way to start the tournament! No stress!

The first year I'm out of school and would be able to go, and instead I have a destination wedding the week before, and another the week after.
Not sure I can justify getting out of town three weekends in a row.

I guess that depends on who/what you have to justify it to...

Neither "CANUCKS16" or "CLASSIC16" are working for me. Entering the latter says "This promotion is no longer available". Was this promo only for yesterday? Thought the e-mail said window opens today.

I don't know why they were made available. It could be that only select seats were made available and the rest will be released today for the presale. Could also be a glitch in their system.

This will be my first time at the Young Stars Classic. We'll be in section 109, row 5!

Any tips in regards to logistics, enjoying the tournament itself, restaurants, camp sites/hotels, or any other suggestions are very welcomed and appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I just spent a week in Penticton for a family reunion. Found getting around town very easy. The arena is on highway 97 this is the same road you are driving into Penticton on. The Ramada is the closest hotel but there are many hotels and bed &breakfasts within a 5 minute drive. Same goes for restaurants. I can recall an RV campground not too far south of the arena on Skaha Lake where pets were allowed in the campground but not on the beach.

I stayed at a B&B in Kaleden, BC just south of Penticton I recommend if you don't mind driving a little further. Other things to do are touring the many vineyards in the area I think there are some brewery tours as well. Tubing down the Okanagan river was awesome in July not sure how it will be in September. Kettle Valley railway is cool if you want a ride on a steam locomotive and Tickleberry's in Okanagan Falls is great if you like ice cream or fudge.

Any other questions let me know. Have a great time at the tournament!.

Book your hotel soon. Stay at the sandman right behind the Okanagan event center and you'll be a block away and not have to work about parking. Soooooooooo much to do and see

I know you're all upset but I'll be missing it this year. Coming two weeks later for a family thing. I've been 3 years in a row and love it.

Yeah, book your hotel very soon. You don't want to be stuck 45 minutes away in Kelowna, having to make that drive every day.
