Once again I'm very impressed with Randy Ambrosie, but good grief, what was Hamilton thinking?

Really? This seems reactionary to me. Surely all hires go through league office before they announce to media. They should have squashed this before it ever got announced to the public.

Their GM has a sexual assault conviction on his record. Not hard to believe he'd have little problem with a rape apologist.

Weird that people and the media were so outraged by this attempted coaching hire but ignored Mayweather's many domestic violence arrests when they were basically jerking off to the pre-fight nonsense.

Those people were hoping to see Mayweather get his skull crushed. Cant hope for that on a football coach.

HAMILTON — The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have worked out former Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel, according to a TSN report.

Doesn't look good though. Too bad. Another Flutie-like QB in the CFL would be awesome.

But the former Heisman Trophy winner will not be coming north anytime soon.

The Ticats put Manziel through a series of physical and medical tests during their bye week on Aug. 23 and 24, coming away convinced he’s not ready to resume his professional career.
“Too many red flags,” said one source.

Ouch. Not mincing words at all:

Quote:
The Ticats were hoping to learn that Manziel, 24, is ready to put his troubled past behind him and dedicate himself to becoming the player he was in college. Most importantly, the team wondered if Manziel could manage becoming the face of a franchise and the attention that would come with a return to the spotlight.

The answer to those questions was a resounding no, according to sources. Among other concerns, the Ticats were not convinced Manziel is in in game shape or that his off-field regiment is consistent with that of someone dedicated to professional football.
Can't imagine anyone would touch him if a CFL team as desperate as the Ticats aren't even interested...

Feel like this happens every year in Saskatchewan. Bombers always look so unprepared.

Bombers defence is garbage.

If they didn't squeak out two games vs a bad Montreal team, they would be looking at 5-5 today.

Don't worry Kevin Glenn will throw at least 2 or 3 INTs and Bombers will scores at least a FG or TDs after those INTs.

Seriously though, I wouldn't mind if the Riders win today then Bombers wins next week.

Saskatchewan is ragdolling Winnipeg. Riders have been playing well for a few weeks now.

The West is going to be fascinating as we head into the second half of the season.

Gainey is becoming quite a solid DB, keep throwing at him Nichols

And that's the reason why I have no faith in Matt Nichols, just a terrible throw, nice INT by Gainey, but that was like shooting fish in a barrel.
