Yeah. I assume he and his wife are settled in Nashville so it makes sense.

Dude was a fun player to watch for a bunch of his career and was just awesome in the playoffs this past year. Great career for him and a true ambassador for making hockey in Nashville what it is today. So happy for that franchise, hard not to like them - easily my fav expansion team of the modern era (90's to current)

Always liked the way Fisher played and carried himself. Would have loved to have him on the Flames in his prime.
Retiring at 37 with millions of dollars and an international pop star wife. Not to shabby for a kid from Peterborough, Ontario.
Wish the Preds could have won this year.

Ya, but Mike was an important dynamic for them. My guess is he had less interest in playing rather then the Preds having less interest in bringing him back.
