I hate the whistle fests the refs turn some games into. That being said, I could never be a bball ref.

Just an ugly game for a championship. Unfortunate the refs got in the way. Carolina finishes strong one more time for the win.

Promised my family that we would go to "Late Night with Roy" if the Heels won. Guess I'm headed to NC in early October!

GTHD!

Sorry Zags. Every time I turned the game on, NC would go on a run. Decided to watch the last 1:30 of the game anyways... well, you know what happened.

Just got home from the game. Couldn't easily tell live if it was extremely poor execution or very tight defence. Looked to be a little of both, but seemed like the refs completely took the game out of the kids hands, and severely impacted the flow of the game.

Overall great experience and glad I went but getting to and from Glendale is an absolute #### show. Took me almost 3 hours from Chandler. Not sure why leagues like the NFL and NCAA continue to use Phoenix as a venue. Just garbage. I didn't even spend any money there as it was a good 30 minute weight to get any food at the concessions. Would never return to another event in that area.

People like to rag on Coyote fans, but i went to a Coyotes game on Friday night, and even that was 2 hours to get there during supper time traffic. If I lived in Phoenix there would be zero chance I would be fighting that traffic to make it to a hockey game on time.

Yeah the Phoenix area is definitely urban sprawl to the extreme. Takes forever to get anywhere in that town

Are the Chiefs the only team from Spokane to win a major championship?

That was an extremely poorly played game. Sure, there were some great defensive moments but both teams played very undisciplined in the offensive end of the floor. It was hard to watch and the complete opposite of last year's final. I was rooting hard for Gonzaga but I felt like they played really scared the last few minutes.

Spokane Indians (Class A Short Season) have won 12 championships?

I thought of the Indians, but not a national league?

Do people in Spokane consider Washington State their team? Pullman is about an hour south?

Judging by the amount of press I see on the Spokane tv channels I would say yes, or at the least they have a pretty heavy following.
