Ya I've been following Merk for a while, we use the same guy that masters our albums (Nato out of Edmonton)... it's crazy how big he's gotten. I opened for him in Calgary last May, he's an amazing performer (topless and all, haha). This is the video that got me into him back in 2013:
You know that feeling when the poster looks nothing like you would expect...that! I don't know which one you are however. Anyway, it's pretty good overall. I don't think that many people here would be too upset if you posted your own stuff though. It's not like you're someone who joined just for that reason, unless its a super slow 10 year plan!

^ I do like it when rappers throw lines like "what else can I say? We top billin" into their songs.
When I saw you posted a video I thought that it would be this one. Pretty good song, although not my favorite. Might grow on me though (NSFW like most stuff in this thread):

- The first 3:25 is the hardest rap has ever gone. Absolutely grimy as #### but so good.
- 3:25-4:58 has that classic boom bap sound. Labels.....the reason my people say they tired of rap...
- 4:58-8:42 is as real as rap has ever gone. Great message and beat
- 8:42-10:31 is smooth as #### jazz rap goodness
- 10:31 to end....ow, my ears
One of the best rap songs ever, clearly

Yeah I'm not that happy with it. His vocals are overwhelmed by the production, which is a shame. Live even the sound levels of the track to his vocals are off.
If you're not listening to the new DJ Quik and Problem release Rosecrans you're missing out. That is of course if one likes dope ass west coast summer soundtracks. If one does not then one can suck it.
