Schneider doesn't have enough time to stretch and goes out with a groin injury. 7uongo comes in and let's in 5 quick goals. 5-4 Flames. Iggy keeps it rolling with 2 goals. Baertschi with one, Tanguay with one, Stempniak with one.

If this game happens, Canucks win the game 32-8 which. This prompts Feaster to trade Baertschi and our first for a 31 year old journeyman goaltender to get us over the hump since we're in "win now mode". The next day, Feaster trades Stajan for some "grit" who happens to be a left winger and we play the rest of the season with no centres in the line-up.
Good times.

This kind of mindless slagging of the team is pretty tiresome.

Well crap. I haven't been paying huge attention to the Canucks this season, but hasn't Luongo been a fort in that net? (Minus his one ugly game a couple of weeks ago).

you mean his last game played where he let in 8 goals, yea that was his last game not a couple of weeks ago, and 2 games before had a .870 sv% performance against stl, in between was a shutout

A friend stuck at the airport says a CRJ from Kelowna landed without issue, and taxied in slowly but surely. They're having trouble keeping up with the snow removal, but it's becoming less of an issue because everything is cancelling now, has diverted to Edmonton, or turned around. Canucks shouldn't have an issue getting in based on how it looks right now, he says.

Well, in that case...
Why didn't they leave last night? It better not be Gillis and his damned sleep therapy.

This game has the potential to be a blowout,,,but I honestly think the Flames will put forth a good effort. Still, a 6-3 loss.

You mean how he had 3 wins in his last 5 games, 1 shutout, with a .962 and .920 save percentage in the other two wins.
He has had one outlier which was the 8 GA and I hate Luongo but give credit where its due. He has come in this season and taken back the number one spot.

It takes about 55 minutes to fly from Van to Cgy, so it shouldn't be too concerning. They could leave as late as 3:30 calgary time and still be okay for puck drop lol.
